Autumn

I can feel it in the breeze.

I can smell it in the air.

And, I know I'm right because I can see it on the calender.

It's coming.

my garden, last week of July.

And I
can't
wait.

  1. I totally agree! I was just looking through old pictures and saw Jill on Halloween last year and one of her playing in leaves. I got pretty excited. And then I got nervous. Whatever is she going to be for Halloween this year?!

  2. I love Autumn too, but this year I'm not quite ready for summer to be over....

  3. I SOOOOO want it to be fall! I hate the heat of summer.

There is this annoying commercial on the radio for the state fair--it starts off "summer is everyone's favorite time of year" and I always say (or think) no, it's not. I like fall. And winter (for Christmas and Valentines day and my birthday) and Spring.

But not really summer. At least, not Indiana summer.

  4. So, unfortunately here in NC fall seems a bit far off...it's still face melting, shoe losing hot. BUT, I also look forward to the fall -- you know me. I can't wait to go on walks again. Short ones this time, since I'll be all pregnant and tired out.

  5. I am so jealous of your pumpkins. We tried to grow some but they plants vined and flowered and nothing ever happened. Maybe we will try again next year.

  6. That is the good thing about my birthday. It means that the hottest part of the year is over and it is only going to get more pleasant from there onwards.
