Sleeping

So I flew out to Utah a few weeks ago, and then drove back here the morning after I got there. It is kind of a long story, but if you know my family you'll probably understand. It made sense to us. My sister, her husband Jeff, and my dad all hung out at our place for a few days before they kept moving on. At some point, I got too sleepy, and I took a little nap. I woke up from my nap feeling so guilty that I wasn't spending time with my family that I don't get to see very often, so I hurried out to see what they had been up to while their host ignored them. This is what I found:
Jilly bean sleeping. Sure, makes sense. She's three weeks old.

My dad sleeping. Sure, makes sense, he's a grandpa, that's exhausting work.

My brother in law Jeff sleeping, sure, he's a new father...

My sister and my daughter Hallie sleeping, sure, she's a new mommy, and Hallie is tired from being a year and a half old...

Ok, I think I have to admit it. My house is boring.

  2. Amy, at least your family feels comfortable at your house. That's a good feeling. When I'm at someone else's house I don't always feel at ease enough to sleep, even if I'm really tired.

  3. Your house could never be boring with YOU living there!

Nah, I agree with Ann, you have a comfortable house. That's a great thing to have!
